Merrang! are a high-energy four-piece tribute act: lead vocal and rhythm guitar, lead guitar and backing vocal, drums and backing vocal, and bass. Between them they cover four vocal mics (the bass vocal is for show and normally muted), two guitars, bass, an SPD sample pad and a full drum kit. The band supplies its own backline and in-ear monitoring. This document lists everything an incoming engineer needs to patch and mix the band quickly. Positions and channel counts are flexible and can be scaled to suit the stage and PA.

Monitoring

The band runs its own in-ear system. We require 4 discrete, pre-fade monitor mixes (aux sends) from FOH, or a mic split to the band's monitor position. No wedges are needed.
